LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A resolution has been filed in Little Rock asking a city board member to resign due to his extended absence.

City Director Lance Hines submitted the resolution asking Ward 2 Director Ken Richardson to resign due to “health battles which have made it clear that he has not been able to fulfill his duties as a member of the Little Rock Board of Directors.”

An August Working4You investigation found that Richardson had not attended board meetings for over a year, yet he was still being paid for his role. Richardson took a leave of absence in May 2024 after multiple life-threatening surgeries, it was reported.
