The Titans officially waived wide receiver Treylon Burks on Tuesday, meaning he joins a long list of Tennessee first-round picks no longer with the organization.
Burks was initially waived with an injury designation by the Titans in July, after he suffered a broken collarbone in training camp. But he wound up reverting to the team’s injured reserve list after clearing waivers.
The team has now waived him from injured reserve, bringing an end to his disappointing stint in Tennessee.
The Titans chose Burks with the 18 th overall pick of the NFL Draft in 2022, hoping the former Arkansas standout could replace Pro Bowler A.J. Brown, who had been traded to Philadelphia that same night.
