PHOENIX — A 32-year-old man was arrested after authorities say he made terroristic threats against a school administrator and threatened to attack Home Building Academy, prompting the vocational school to close Monday.
Luis Santiago Herrera was taken into custody following the series of alleged threats. Herrera faces charges of making a terroristic threat and computer tampering — both felonies— according to a probable cause affidavit filed in the case.
Authorities say Herrera sent text messages to a school administrator around 2 p.m. Sunday after she denied his request to allow another student to graduate from the program.
