FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - After the release of a controversial Kentucky inmate last week , calls for change continue to mount.
“Technology and social media have made it so easy for people to communicate and unfortunately in some circumstances in a negative fashion,” said Sgt. Matt Sudduth.
Personal and identifying information about the parole board members was posted online and shared on social media platforms and sites.
KSP says they’re investigating threats made against board members and their families.
“It’s my understanding that some of the parole board were fearful to even send their children to school,” he said. “What kind of environment are we creating?”
