LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) -Changes arrive by the end of the week with the arrival of a weak cold front.

Wednesday and Thursday will not look much different than what we experienced Monday and Tuesday; with warm and humid weather being the rule. Temperatures will only drop into the low 70s during the mornings and afternoon highs will top out in the upper 80s to low 90s. With the humidity being so high we may see some patchy fog in the overnight and early morning hours.

Plus the heat index during the afternoon may climb into the mid to upper 90s! Rain is likely to be very limited and it is possible that we see no rain at all; the rain chance will only be 10%.
