Tuesday was supposed to be a baseball-packed afternoon for the MLB postseason on FS1, but nature had other ideas.
And now, Fox has been forced to make a programming decision to accommodate the unplanned scheduling conflict.
Game 3 of the American League Division Series between the Mariners and Tigers was initially slated for a 4:08 p.m. Eastern Time first pitch on FS1. But an extended rain storm forced a weather delay that had MLB looking at a 7 p.m. first pitch. But with the Blue Jays-Yankees Game 3 slated for 8:08 p.m. Eastern Time on FS1, Mariners and Tigers fans will undoubtedly be forced to refer to a channel guide.
What channel is Mariners-Tigers Game 3 on?
If the weather cooperates into the evening, the Tigers and Mariners will begin the game on FS1 as scheduled. But once it becomes time for Yankees-Blue Jays coverage, the Mariners-Tigers game will shift to FS2 and the Fox Sports App.
On the other hand, the Yankees-Blue Jays game will air in its entirety on FS1.
