(WKBN) -- For those who are fond of the outdoors but don't love the idea of roughing it, "glamping" accommodations are making their debut in Pennsylvania's state parks.
"Glamping" is the condensed form of "glamorized camping," which basically means we won't have to stray too terribly far from our beloved comforts when spending a night or two in the woods.
The accommodations, which will total 61 glamping sites across eight state parks, are provided by Timberline Glamping Company. It's the company's first venture in the northeast, and Pennsylvania will now host more of its locations than any other state.
“This new offering is another way we’re ensuring that our state parks remain welcoming and enjoyable for all Pennsylvanians,” said Cindy Adams Dunn, Pennsylvania Department of Conservatio
