CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) - Four juveniles have been arrested after police say they were found to be in possession of pistols.

The arrests came during a Friday night traffic stop at North Carson Street near I-580.

The juveniles were arrested by members of the Carson City Sheriff’s Special Enforcement unit, who were in the area investigating a series of property damage incidents that taken place in multiple areas of Carson City over the last six weeks.

One of the reported vandalism incidents took place at an NV Energy property on Long Street, and at John Mankins Park. Damage from the incidents exceeded $50,000, according to the CCSO.

During the traffic stop, police noted that the car was similar to one spotted near one of the sites that had been vandalized the previous weekend.
