THE SUPREME Court Tuesday issued notice on a plea seeking directions to social media platform X and the official handle of Assam BJP to take down a video, which, it alleged, “depicts the takeover of Assam by Muslims if the BJP doesn’t remain in power”.

A bench of Justices Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta issued the notice on a plea by journalist Qurban Ali and Senior Advocate Anjana Prakash and posted the matter for hearing on October 28.
