FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Festivities kick off at the Sons of Norway, bringing in many traditional Norwegian dishes, crafts, lefse, and more.
“So the Taste of Norway is kind of one of our heritage festivals. We’ve got a spread of different Norwegian cuisines, ranging from lingonberry meatballs we’ve got klub. The dessert side we’ve got kransekake, krumkake, kind of all the Norwegian specialities,” said Jacob Dauner, Food and Beverage at Sons of Norway.
Many of the dishes that are being served throughout the week are typical dishes that are served once a year during the holiday. But this has brought many to come out and give it a try.
