Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has announced that the company will continue sponsoring H-1B visas and will fully cover the $100,000 fee imposed under President Donald Trump’s recent executive order.
In an internal memo obtained by Business Insider, Huang reaffirmed Nvidia’s commitment to its global workforce, stating that the company would absorb all visa-related costs for affected employees.
“The miracle of Nvidia — built by all of you, and by brilliant colleagues around the world — would not be possible without immigration,” Huang wrote. “We will take care of our people.”
The statement comes amid growing backlash from the tech and education sectors over the new H-1B fee, which was introduced last month as part of the Trump administration’s broader effort to curb foreign work visas.
