Nearly three months after a utility trailer with tools was reported stolen in downtown Niagara Falls, police say they are still investigating the incident.

Niagara Regional Police said the 2018 Haulmark HMV double-axle utility trailer was taken at about 11:30 p.m. July 11 from the area of Queen Street and Ontario Avenue.

The 18-by-20-foot trailer is black and white and has an Ontario plate Z1153R.

Police said the trailer had equipment and items for a business inside, including blowers, cords, dollies and assorted tools. All told, the tools were valued at about $15,000, while the trailer itself is worth about $10,000.

Based on video surveillance, police said a suspect vehicle appears to be a white Chevrolet Silverado extended cab four-by-four pickup truck with racks.
