The Allen County Public Library's community-wide reading program is set to become even more inclusive, officials announced Tuesday.

Due to strong demand for tickets to hear journalist and author Steve Inskeep discuss his book, “Differ We Must: How Lincoln Succeeded in a Divided America,” library officials have decided to host live watch parties in five branches on Thursday evening and to allow residents to livestream the lecture in their homes.

The 186 tickets to attend the annual McMurtry Lecture in person event were free and distributed in a matter of hours, ACPL said.
