The fire is expected to start at 11 a.m. and last until 2 p.m., according to Cal Fire AEU. However, it can change depending on any restrictions set by the El Dorado County Air Quality Management District and fire conditions.

Cal Fire is expecting to burn the final 40 acres of grass and oak woodland within the VMP boundary to reduce fuel in the fuel break, officials said. The blaze will happen in El Dorado County off Marshall Road.
