After working in neighborhood areas, the city of Joplin's resurfacing program for 2025 will focus on two major corridors in Joplin — Schifferdecker Avenue and Connecticut Avenue.

Work is scheduled to begin Wednesday along Schifferdecker Avenue from Seventh Street to 32nd Street. Blevins Asphalt Construction, the contractor, plans to finish this area by Monday, weather permitting. ×
