RAPID CITY — Senior Taten Mauney of O'Gorman and Harrisburg took home top honors in the state Class AA boys golf tournament.

The two-day, 36-hole tourney concluded on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025, at the Meadowbrook Golf Course in Rapid City.

Mauney grabbed control with a 4-under 68 on Monday and maintained his advantage over the final 18 holes by shooting a 2-over 74 for a 142 total, five shots ahead of Braxton Holan of Sioux Falls Lincoln, Tyson Lunn of Brookings, Charlie Swift of Harrisburg and Jayden Antonen of O'Gorman.

The top six teams and 25 individuals medaled.

Harrisburg claimed its second state title and first since 2022 with a two-day score of 14-over 590. The Tigers fired rounds of 295 each day. O'Gorman was second, followed by Sioux Falls Lincoln, Brookings, Brandon Valley and Y
