JEFFERSONTOWN, Ky. — A collapsed road has caused disruption to traffic in Jeffersontown.

According to Jeffersontown Public Works, a portion of Plantside Drive between Bunsen Way and Caton Drive is closed after the road collapsed Tuesday.

They believe it was caused by a collapsed pipe following heavy rains that led to flooding.

JPW says both sides of Plantside drive around the collapsed road are open and that no businesses are put out or inaccessible.

It’s unclear when the roadway will open.
