The incident, which began just before 3:00 p.m., prompted a heavy police response at the campus, and multiple schools were placed on "secure protocol," Ogden School District officials said.
The teen suffered an apparent gunshot wound near 7th Street and Monroe Boulevard and "went to the Ben Lomond High School campus seeking help at approximately 2:50 p.m.," according to a statement from the school district.
