Wellington Council member John McGovern’s first full quarter running for the Palm Beach County School Board proved fruitful, resulting in two new endorsers and a haul that brought his total gains to more than $125,000.
McGovern’s campaign says he added about $98,000 since July 1, making him “the clear fundraising leader in the race to succeed retiring School Board member Marcia Andrews .”
He also received nods from the Palm Beach County Classroom Teachers Association and the Palm Beach-Treasure Coast AFL-CIO , which represent thousands of teachers and working families in South Florida.
