QUINCY (WGEM) - Two juveniles were arrested on Tuesday for vehicle burglary, resisting/obstructing a peace officer, and possession of a stolen gun in the 3300 block of State Street.

At 12:25 a.m. on Tuesday, Quincy police were dispatched for a report of two individuals checking door handles on vehicles.

Upon arrival, police saw two male juveniles take off running.

One was arrested upon arrival, but the second male ran into a wooded area, where he was later found and arrested.

Police stated one of the juveniles had a stolen handgun.

Both were lodged in the Adams County Juvenile Detention Center, awaiting official charges from the Adams County State’s Attorney’s Office.
