HOUSTON – Gexa Energy is not only powering Texans homes with electricity, but the company is also giving their energy to volunteering in the community.

Recently, Gexa Energy surprised the Houston Humane Society with new dog and cat toys created by employees during their lunch breaks in the office.

Gexa volunteers then spent the day walking dogs and playing with cats at the shelter.
