Five teens were charged in connection with an attack outside the Maryland State Fair in late August.

Four 14-year-old girls and one 15-year-old girl were charged after video showed a group of people surround Ariel Mason’s 16-year-old daughter and beat her.

Mason told 11 News in September that her daughter went to the fair with friends before going across the street, where the attack occurred. Neither Mason nor her daughter knew who the attackers were, she told 11 News.
