Emma Freitas and Kylei Grant showed the way as Barnegat defeated Donovan Catholic 5-1 in a Shore Conference game in Barnegat.

Freitas generated a goal and two assists and Grant contributed two goals as Barnegat won its second game in a row and improved its record to 9-6.

Freitas, a sophomore, and Grant, a senior, each have scored six goals this season.

Jayla Duff and Layla Turchi each added a goal for Barnegat.

Ella Tortorici made four saves in goal for Barnegat.

Sarah Franks scored a goal for Donovan Catholic (2-8-1).
