WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A West Hartford man has been arrested and charged for allegedly damaging pro-Israel lawn signs around town.

West Hartford Police Department said it received numerous complaints of pro-Israel signs being removed, cut in half or discarded on lawns along Mohegan Drive, Mohawk Drive, Albany Avenue and Norwood Road.

Detectives investigated the complaints and identified a suspect connected tied to one of the incidents as 40-year-old Michael Guzman of West Hartford, according to police. Guzman turned himself in to police on Tuesday.

Guzman was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal trespassing.
