About 3,300 spectators attended the This is the Turning Point Tour event at Montana State University on Tuesday evening to honor Charlie Kirk, the late conservative commentator who was assassinated in early September.
The crowd — many wearing “Make America Great Again” hats and holding American flags — filled Brick Breeden Fieldhouse to continue what speakers described as Kirk’s mission: To engage in open debate, challenge opposing ideas, follow God, read more and occasionally disconnect from social media.
