A block of flats in Cambridgeshire has been left with intermittent heating and boiler problems for nine days. A resident at Lyons Court in Chatteris has expressed his concern for his elderly neighbours in poor health.

The housing association, Clarion Housing Group, received the first report of heating not working on September 28. Repairs were booked by Clarion for Tuesday (October 7) and are expected to fix the issues.

A resident, who has lived at Lyons Court for six years and asked to remain anonymous, asked: "I'm coping okay personally but there are others in the building who are not as they are unwell. The slow response has made me feel angry and let down."
