Mums-to-be don't know what to expect when they are having a baby, even if it's not their first time, and a birth plan can only go so far when it comes to the big day.

There are so many variables that can dictate how a birth will progress including, but not limited to, the size of the baby.

So spare a thought for this new mum in the US, who recently gave birth to the biggest baby born at the hospital in at least three years.

Baby Cassian was born at the TriStar Centennial Women's Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

He was so big, the hospital even took to Instagram to announce the birth.

Now his savvy mum has started a TikTok account to chronicle his arrival, and her first post has amassed more than 36 million views.
