ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - An employee at a high school in Henry County has been arrested in an operation targeting sex solicitation.

Kerry Vanderford, an online course facilitator at Luella High School, faces a charge of pandering. He was one of five people arrested during the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Henry County Police Department’s “Johns and Bonds” operation on Sept. 25, which focused on reducing commercial sex demand.

In a statement, Henry County Schools said Vanderford was arrested for a “personal matter” unrelated to his job. He has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
