Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price is demanding Liberal leader Sussan Ley do something about the leaking and backgrounding against party colleagues, citing claims the Coalition "look like a clown show".

Senator Price revealed on Wednesday that she had written to the Liberal leader following leaked reports that former Opposition Leader Peter Dutton had singled out her colleague Andrew Hastie as being partly responsible for the party’s worst ever election defeat.

According to the reports, Mr Dutton had provided scathing comments about Mr Hastie to the Liberal Party’s election review, accusing him of having gone on strike during the campaign.
