MECHANICSBURG — Bill Balog might have had the fastest car at Williams Grove Speedway in the 63rd annual National Open last Saturday, but Sheldon Haudenschild found a little bit of extra speed when it counted.
The son of Hall of Famer Jac Haudenschild outraced Balog in the closing laps to score just his second career win at Williams Grove — a hefty $75,000 payday — for the 40-lap feature.
