Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir Police’s State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Wednesday conducted simultaneous searches at multiple locations across the Valley as part of an ongoing probe into a sleeper cell module of terrorist organisations, officials said.

According to officials, the raids were carried out at eight locations across seven districts spanning all three police ranges—North, Central, and South Kashmir. The searches were conducted in connection with FIR No. 01/2025 registered at Police Station CI/SIA Kashmir.

“The case pertains to a sleeper cell operating in the Valley under the directions of commanders of proscribed terrorist outfits Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM),” officials said.
