Western Australia will have perhaps their strongest white-ball squad of the season with Australian One-Day captain Mitch Marsh amongst a quartet of big ins for their home clash against New South Wales.
Fresh from his player of the series heroics, including a first-ever Twenty20 international century, against New Zealand, Marsh will be back in the black and gold for the first time since the 2023 One-Day Cup final.
He will be joined by all-rounder Cooper Connolly, who has returned from Australia A’s tour of India, where he scored back-to-back half-centuries.
The match against NSW on Thursday, October 9, will serve as key preparation for the pair ahead of Australia’s upcoming white-ball series against India, starting in Perth on October 19.
