Continuing its unwavering operation against drug peddlers, Awantipora Police on Wednesday attached two single-storey residential houses valued at approximately ₹18 lakhs, belonging to two notorious drug peddlers.

The said drug peddlers are Muzaffar Ahmad Shalla, S/o Gull Mohammad Shalla, R/o Karewa Jablipora, Bijbehara and Javid Ahmad Ganie, S/I/L Late Ali Mohammad Rather, R/o Gund Baba Khalil, Naina Sangam

The attachments were carried out under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act, 1985.

These residential properties were identified as illegally acquired assets during an enquiry conducted by Inspector Khalid Fayaz, SHO Police Station Pampore, under the supervision of SDPO Pampore Shri R.P. Singh. The investigation revealed that the properties had been acquired through proceeds of
