Muskogee County deputies arrest two people accused of stealing thousands of dollars' worth of meat from a meat store.

Investigators believe these two are tied to a larger crime ring operating out of Texas.

Muskogee County deputies handcuffed Edgar Mendoza Delgado and Thelma Vasquez Vargas just as they arrived to pick up more than $30,000 worth of meat from Watson Farms Meat Market in Council Hill.

You could tell they were surprised by the sting operation.

Deputies say they ordered the meat, then, after picking it up, they'd claim their credit card was stolen and would dispute the charge, and the business never got their money.
