(WJW) – The Mega Millions jackpot is climbing to historic levels after no one was lucky enough to hit the right six numbers in the Oct. 7 drawing. However, one lucky player in Ohio is waking up several thousand dollars richer!

According to Ohio Lottery documents, a Mega Millions ticket sold in the Buckeye State matched four out of five numbers correctly, plus the Mega Ball, to win $20,000.

It wasn’t immediately clear where the winning ticket was purchased.

The winning numbers on Friday were: 17, 26, 33, 45, and 56, plus the gold Mega Ball 19.

The jackpot now sits at an estimated $575 million. The next drawing is Friday, Oct. 10.
