InterGlobe Aviation, parent of airline IndiGo, has been fined by India’s aviation regulator for failing to use \"qualified simulators\" for pilot training at Category C airports, the company said on Wednesday.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation imposed a 2 million-rupee ($22,531.40) penalty in its September 26 order, which the company said it will contest.
