Castle Rock was recognized as one of the top small cities to live in across the U.S., landing in the 99th percentile in a new WalletHub study that ranked more than 1,300 municipalities.

Three other small cities — Parker, Broomfield and Windsor — ranked in the 90th percentile or better.

“Moving from a bustling metropolis to a small city could drastically cut down your cost of living,” Chip Lupo, WalletHub analyst, said in the study announcement. “On top of that, the best small cities offer strong job markets, high-quality education, good health care, safe living conditions and plenty of local flair to help you achieve a high quality of life.”
