Organizers behind San Francisco’s largest free clothing program are turning to social media for a boost.
The St. Anthony’s Foundation is partnering with influencer Andrew De Los Santos, who posts on Instagram and TikTok under the handles @andrewtourssf and @andreweatsinsf, to host what is expected to be one of the nonprofit’s biggest drives.
Running 1-5 p.m. Saturday at Sports Basement’s Bryant Street location, the fundraiser will accept new or gently used clothing from donors. Items collected at Saturday’s event will go directly to the racks at St. Anthony’s Golden Gate Avenue headquarters as part of the Free Clothing Program , which provides garments to individuals and families facing homelessness and poverty.
Those involved with the Tenderloin nonprofit say the drive is being held
