After a brief dip, Miami senior Carson Beck is again rising toward the top of the USA TODAY Sports quarterback rankings after sparking the No. 3 Hurricanes’ rivalry win against Florida State.

With the running game struggling, Beck delivered four touchdown passes, two of at least 40 yards, to help Miami build a 28-3 lead in the third quarter. That came after he averaged just 5.3 yards per attempt in sloppy conditions against Florida.
