Bhubaneswar: Heavy rain on Wednesday disrupted normal life in Bhubaneswar, causing severe traffic congestion and leaving several roads waterlogged.

Vehicular movement was brought to a standstill on key routes, including Janpath, NH-16, Saheed Nagar, Vani Vihar, and Rasulgarh, as hundreds of vehicles, including buses and two-wheelers, remained stranded for hours.

Commuters reported long delays, with travel times stretching to more than twice the usual duration. Public transport services, including city buses, were affected, leaving passengers waiting in flooded areas.
