The airport should be self-sustaining. As a business, it should not need to be supported with or should not be supported with taxpayer money.

For those of you wondering which candidates to vote for for City Council, there are very telling answers by each candidate on the website longmontchamber.org. Reading only the section titled “Vance Brand Airport” even reveals a lot about each candidate.

I applaud Loveland Mayor Jacki Marsh for creating emergency shelter at city hall for vulnerable people on Sunday night. With the closure of the overnight shelter, her actions likely saved lives. Thank you to Mayor Marsh for her moral leadership and her solidarity, especially at a time when rhetoric against our unhoused neighbors is becoming increasingly dangerous.
