A Gavin and Stacey scene about the infamous fishing trip was written but it never aired, it has been revealed.
The long-running gag of the BBC comedy series involved an incident between Uncle Bryn West (Rob Brydon) and his nephew Jason West (Robert Wilfort) that happened years ago - and caused a huge family rift.
However, the characters kept it a secret between themselves and viewers never discovered what happened throughout the 17-years of the beloved sitcom.
The scene - which features Jason and Bryn discussing the trip - was penned by Gavin and Stacey's writers James Corden, 47, and Ruth Jones, 59, for the third series in 2009, but it never made it to air.
