In Detroit, the Mariners took a 2-1 series lead over the Tigers and have a chance to be the first team to advance to either league championship series, as they lead-off our slate of four playoff games today. All four series could potentially end today, which would be tragic since the ALCS and NLSC aren’t slated to start until Sunday, so let’s root for some comebacks by the Phillies, Cubs, and Tigers.
