Cristiano Ronaldo just turned 40, but he’s still chasing goals — literally and figuratively.
While most footballers his age are swapping boots for golf clubs, Ronaldo insists he isn’t done yet. In fact, he’s got his eyes on an outrageous milestone — 1,000 career goals.
Speaking to Canal 11 , the Portuguese superstar admitted that even his family is starting to drop retirement hints.
“People, especially my family, say: ‘It’s time for you to stop. You’ve done everything. Why do you want to score a thousand goals?’” he revealed with a smile.
“But I don’t think so. I think I’m still producing good things, I’m helping my club and the national team, and why not keep going?”
