Premanand Maharaj, a well-known seer from Vrindavan, has shared a health update after news of his deteriorating condition surfaced and spread on Tuesday.

NDTV reported that Premanand Maharaj said he is doing better than yesterday and is now able to open his eyes. The report further stated that he is undergoing treatment at the Keli Kunj Ashram and is receiving dialysis every day. He is also experiencing swelling all over his body, and both his hands have been bandaged.

For the uninitiated, Premanand Maharaj has been suffering from kidney issues for a long time and has to undergo dialysis regularly. Mint reported that his health had worsened, after which reports of his hospitalisation began circulating — but those turned out to be merely rumours.
