ROCHELLE, Ill. (WTVO) — Jacob Feiden, 32, of Mount Carroll was arrested after a chase with the Ogle County Sheriff's Office, and was charged with aggravated fleeing to elude and driving under the influence of drugs.

According to the Ogle County Sheriff's Office, at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, deputies were notified by the Lee County Sheriff's Office that they were involved in a chase with the driver of a 2013 Kia Soul that was headed east on Illinois Route 38.

Ogle County deputies located the offender just east of Rochelle, and used stop sticks to blow out the tires and disable the vehicle just as it entered the city limits.

However, the driver continued to flee police at slow speeds through the city, police said.
