The Yankees looked like they might get swept by the Toronto Blue Jays before Aaron Judge hit a three-run homer to help spearhead a dramatic comeback to win Game 3.

Now Yankees legend Derek Jeter says his old team can make a deeper run in these playoffs.

“If they can build on what they just did tonight, the Yankees can go a lot further than a lot of people think,” Jeter said on the Fox post-game show after the Yankees roared back from a 6-1 deficit to win 9-6 and force Game 4 Wednesday night (7:08 p.m., FS1).

Jeter pointed out that the Blue Jays’ defense gave the Yankees “extra outs.”

“You’ve got to say thank you to the Blue Jays defense,” he said. “They gave them extra outs and gave them a run there early, and then obviously the dropped pop up led to Judge’s big home run.”
