Hyderabad: The Hyderabad traffic police booked 10,652 persons for driving on the wrong-side during the first week of October.
D Joel Davis, Additional Commissioner (traffic) Hyderabad City Police said that the special drive was launched as wrong-side driving has become a dangerous practice.
“It is not only causing traffic congestion but also poses a serious threat to the safety of both the violator and the other road users,” said Joel Davis .
