Here's who we like this week in our Week 8 high school football picks

Well, let's see if we can do a little better this week.

Last week, as the Desert Empire League high school football slate began, reporter Andrew John and columnist Shad Powers were humbled a bit in whiffing on all three of their DEL game predictions. Andrew was right on all six of the other games, while Shad was just 3-3 on the other games. It was a brutal week for Shad, who is typically one step ahead of Andrew in the picks.
