The Senate approves David Waterman to be U.S. attorney for the Des Moines-based Southern District of Iowa and Leif Olson for the same post in the Northern District, based in Cedar Rapids.
President Donald Trump nominated both, and President Joe Biden previously had nominated Waterman but failed to get a vote.
